RUST – STOP rust converter is a liquid, highly concentrated, phosphoric acid rust removal and phosphating agent. Degreased, derusted and phosphated in a single operation. Fast drying with the formation of a well-adherent, paintable iron phosphate layer. Is free of chromic acid. Can be used in dipping and spraying processes or via HD devices. For professional use only.

Properties:

  • Fast drying due to high-quality wetting agents

Specifications:

Appearance: liquid, colorless
Density: (20°C) 1.36 g/cm³

Application:
Can be used in both dipping and spraying and via HD device, with the temperature preferably being 50 - 80°C.

Dosage:
1-25 %

The application concentrations depend entirely on the workpieces and the application:

Immersion method:
20-30 min. at a dilution of 1:2 to 1:4 with water and temperatures of 20-50°C;

by means of an HD device:
the temperature should be at least 70°C and the concentration in the cleaning jet about 1%.

Aftercare:
Leave on for a short time after application and rinse briefly with water. After drying, the surface can then be painted over.
